kindergarten and preschool classroom can never have a big enough
supply of blunt

All of us adults know not to run with scissors, but sometimes children
are do not quite yet understand. That is just one of the many reasons
why you want to give your youngest students only blunt tip scissors.
Of course, blunt tip scissors are also much safer while your students
are actually using them. Your student is so much less likely to
cut himself or herself with a pair of blun tip scissors than with
a "regular" pair.
